Objects That Speak to Us

French decor, French brocante, France, antiques

Often the objects we hold on to are not have the most monetary value instead they hold memory for us they are meaningful to our story; they are the things that speak to us: A tee shirt from my father. My grandmother’s holy water font, my children’s baby teeth. Annie’s beret…

The decorative items I have are not precious. They are things that speak to me. The feather fluff or the wrapping creating my home. The items that I cherish are those pieces that safeguard my memories and let me hear our story when need be.

While these objects may not hold any monetary value, they carry emotional comfort that cannot be measured.

I so enjoy clicking on your photos to blow them up to full screen so I can see the detail. What are the interesting little stone figures playing flutes?
