Darkness in Light

hope

There could be darkness in light.

Shadows are created when light passes through the leaves of a tree.

The tree's roots expand due to light penetrating through the soil.

And light is carried upward as nourishment,

Light enters even the smallest of cracks.

The thinnest ray of light at the end of the tunnel seems extraordinarily bright.

Giving guidance and hope

However, darkness can slowly creep into the light,

perhaps not steadily, but little by little over time, extinguishes the light,

Darkness stares.

Falling leaves.

Dry and barren.

A bud like a spark calls out.

A bird perches on the top branch, sees the distance horizion.

Sun, moon and stars,

leaving the darkness behind.

    Eyes closed
I feel the warmth of the sun upon my face.
    Light. Felt . Unseen.
    Always present even in darkness.
    Steadfast and constant.
    Pouring out It’s energy
    Giving strength, healing and hope.
Forever shining from my core – my center.
    God within. Forever available. Waiting.
Close your eyes and know this comfort.
    Always.

  3. Gorgeous picture and words.
Let’s embrace the glimmers of light.
