Just in Time for the Last Pomegranate

One last pomegranate hung on the tree.

We cracked it open,

my mom and Olivia started picking at it

seed by seed.

Ruby, red, and sweet

We are back at my childhood home.

Olivia saw my mom's rosary hanging on the chair (the one she sits at every morning to say her rosary.)

Olivia put it around her neck and wore it.

These photos are priceless. The patience of the elderly and curiousness of the young. So sweet

Warms the heart. I assume the first wave of family was you, Chelsea, the grands. Can’t wait to see the next one.

I am daunted by pomegranates! I need Olivia to show me how to tackle them. Great photos.
