French la Vie: Off the Beaten Path, Straight to the Heart of the French

Today we visited two brocante friends I have known since I started brocanting in France over thirty years ago.
Friends Meeting Friends.

We went to their homes for a private visit and shopping. The French la Vie is a unique way of traveling, one where you step into the authentic lives of my French friends, sharing a personal experience that most travelers only dream about.

We had the most delicious, delightful lunch at Regina and Gerald’s, five courses, homemade! The highlight among many was a lobster bisque that took over 16 hours to make. My generous friends opened their homes to my groups, giving them a taste of French culture and hospitality. We rolled  out of their home to Christine’s home,

One open heart to another.
We visit at least ten personal friends’ homes, shops, and other favorite places in a week. French la Vie leads the way when the expression off the beaten path is used.
