Dinner was ready

Chelsea had set the table

Yann was opening the wine

I turned my back to stir a pot and when I turned around

someone had gobbled up the raspberries off the melons.

Just had to comment on Chelsea’s birthday cake for little one even if few days late. So precious. With all the fancy bakeries in Paris and France she could have bought an expensive cake to celebrate but instead chose to bake him one that I’m sure brought so much joy and fun to his day.
When my children were little I baked their cakes. I have a picture of my daughter totally on top of the table eating half the m&ms while decorating her cake. They weren’t fancy, just figurines like dinosaurs and rock candy or action figures but always a hit. Now they are adults
and request whatever cake they would like me to bake. For my daughters 38th birthday in May she requested an italian ricotta chocolate cake with candied blood oranges. Took me three days to accomplish. So congratulations to Chelsea and I hope she keeps up this tradition. Loved
    the boat and cookies!

  9. Please don’t be offended by the comparison, but my dog eats all the raspberries off the bush in my backyard before I can pick them.
