Baby Brocante is my Goal

Bebe rattle

I bought a baby basket bed for the baby who is loved beyond measure.

Years ago I sold a napkin ring with bebe engraved on it which means "Baby" in English, yeah now I want to find one of those, plus a charm like the one I sold above as well. I guess you could say I have baby brocante on my mind which suits me well considering I have no more room in our home for anything… well except baby brocante stuff.

Baby sheets, baby blankets, baby clothes, a highchair, a stroller… oh my a stroller, a big fat juicy luscious over the top old stroller!

Goals to meet in 2019.

  1. ‘Baby Brocante’ sounds a great adventure, with treasure to be found. I still (at 73) often wear ( on a chain) a silver bell with my name and birthdate inscribed on it which was attached to a teething ring.

That sounds like a fun goal and doable too:)

  3. Sounds fabulous. Babies bring such joy and happiness into our worlds don’t they.
God’s divine blessings to us all.
I send my love and good wishes always.
It will be a great new year for us all

I just bought a vintage Silver Cross pram I’m going to restore – you need to find one, they are gorgeous!

  5. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! I trashed picked one and just putting my hands on the bar to push felt like heaven- it was pristine-lovingly preserved –the woman only had one child –anyway, I kept it for a while shudder the thought my cats laid in it in turns-I didn’t want it getting ruined so I donated it– I should have done a photo shoot with it-thrift stores cannot take baby items because or recalls– liability etc here, but I explained the nature of this pram I am sure they did a search and they wanted it-navy /white just lovely GOOD LUCK WITH THE RESTORATION such a joy! SILVER CROSS the carriages for royals

  6. I knew it! I just knew the baby brocante would capture you. It can’t help it. This baby is walking right in and taking residence in your heart.
I have the gorgeous crib I found when I was pregnant with my first child 50 years ago. I need to let it go, but just can’t quite do it yet.

Are Chelsea and Martin planning to find out in advance if they will be having a boy or girl? That will really get you going. Enjoy every minute of this.

I know you already know this but I have to say it anyway! A grandbabe will change your life forever, there is nothing in this life quite like the love and devotion of our grandbabes. A beautiful chapter ahead! I could not be happier for you all. So happy! YAY! YAY! YAY!

  11. And you would know. I love how you embrace your grandchildren and how comforted they feel in your presence. We are going to have fun watching from afar as Corey embraces this experience. Anticipating!

  12. Can’t wait to see what you find, Corey. One of my favorite things about being “Jaja” is when we see each other and they say my name with excitement and run toward me with arms open wide for a hug. Does my heart good.

I have the heart shaped Bebe silver rattle you sold me years ago. I am hoping for Bebe’s to come to my family. I need some cheering.

I also bought a dainty Bebe bib at the French Brocante in Paris. Years ago I gave a friend a bebe shower and that was my theme.
