Snowflake

Make a snowflake. Sing a song. Tell someone you love them. Smile as you run. At the toll booth pay for the person behind you. Leave a flower on the doorsteps of your neighbors. Wear a green hat with a yellow bird on top. Open a bottle of champagne at a crosswalk. When you see something that bothers you embrace it. Pass out chocolate kisses to those you meet in the street. Ask yourself why not. Laugh more. Cry more. Give of yourself even when you feel you have nothing to give.

Shelley…your faith, your courage, your miracle of being allows me to see a place called heaven on earth.

  7. I mean a centre piece not a centre pice. To think I used to do proof reading once.

  8. Corey, what an inspiring friend you have. I had a childhood friend that was shot in Vietnam and came back paralyzed from the neck down. He ended up doing more with his life than most I know. Thanks for reminding me.

  9. Yet again…..food for thought to nurture our souls……thank you!

  10. The ceiling may be cracked, but the snowflake is no less beautiful. Like lines on a face, it has seen life, and is perhaps more beautiful because of it.

  11. Okay we’re back to hats here! Where would I find a green hat with a yellow bird, even I who never wear hats might wear that one! Your thoughts start my day and I love your reminders to “LIVE” with all our heart and spirit.

  12. I remember you posting about your friend.
And although I’ve never met her, ever since you wrote about her, whenever I see flow blue pottery (or any kind of China with a blue pattern) I think of her.

  14. What inspiration! Some years ago I bought little candy canes and handed them out to people along my way.
It is pouring rain but I’m going out to a Holiday lunch with a friend. I think I’ll carry a bright red umbrella and pass out candy canes.

  35. Hi Corey,
I love the ceiling rose photo. I’ve never thought of these as giant snowflakes before… how fantastic. Now every-time I walk into our front room (with an old ceiling rose in it) I can pretend I’m out in the open air with snowflakes gently falling down from the sky.
    Cheers, lj
