Antique Key to Chez Moi

The key

The houses in France are old. The doors to the houses are old. So it goes to figure that the locks and keys, to the doors of the houses in France are old too.

Often they look like this one or larger! It is amazing that I can misplace a key of this size!

It has been one month as of today that I have started a weblog . Thank you for faithfully following along, encouraging me with enthusiastic emails and comments ! It has been a pleasure to write my stories to such a favorable group of friends and kindred spirits ! Thanks to you I will continue the dare with less fear ! I like old keys and it looks fabulous on the notes! I’m using this for collages sometimes, I mean notes and keys.
Thanks for the key to your blog Corey! It’s a pleasure!
I also invite you to visit mine if you like. I’m not a big writer because my mother tongue is German and not English, but I love to take photos, especially of my Garden and Decorations.
Btw I’ve lived in the South of France for a year (in La Valette, near Toulon) it’s 20 years ago now and it was probably the best year of my live!

Just like you, I love old houses with old doors, I take lots of pictures of them and of picturesque windows from all regions of the country! (and from other countries).
Mind you, all French houses and doors are not old!!
We do have our new terraced houses, with new cheap “plastic”(?) doors and very tiny keys…etc, etc…
